CALC-FDI 3
CALC-FDI 3 is a smartphone app built specifically for Australian Bushfire Brigade members.
Designed to assist in the prediction of bush fire behaviour using the Australian Fire Danger Rating System models developed to derive rate of fire spread, flame height and other fire behaviours. This application supersedes the Calc-FDI and Calc-FDI2 applications and caters for the new Australian Fire Danger Rating System commencing on September 1st 2022.
CALC-FDI3 will display a Harvest Ban and Vehicle Movement Ban warning when the calculated Fireline Intensity value is 40 or above!
